name is Jean Bienvenu. I am of French
origin but nowadays I would rather
describe myself as European.
I speak fluent English (it has become
my first language), German and French.
I have known Crete for about 30
years and can say that I know the
West of the island pretty well.
My activities are
divided between supervising the
Crete walks programmes of some tour
operators, guiding a few groups
myself and web design and internet
promotion - a nice complementary
opposite.
I have decided to
offer my services as a private guide
in order to keep myself from getting
old sitting in an office chair in
front of a monitor - my first love
is after all the nature here - and
because of the pleasure I get from
sharing this beautiful nature with
like-minded people.
